Progressive Computing, Inc. Announces New Addition to Tech Team

Jose Rodriguez brings experience, vision and focus on exceptional service

Westchester County, NY (August 8, 2012)

Progressive Computing, Inc., (PCI) a computer consulting and network installation, design and maintenance firm, announces the addition of Technical Advisor Jose Rodriguez to their team. PCI now has a total of 10 professional technicians serving clients in Westchester and Manhattan.?

A six-year veteran of the IT industry and a graduate of the ASA Institute in New York City, Rodriguez formerly worked at Health Insurance Plan of NY (now Emblem Health) and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. At PCI, he provides clients with technical support and repairs for Windows-based PCs and laptops, and administration of servers. Rodriguez believes that helping customers understand the issues and opportunities related to technology is paramount to finding the right solutions in a timely and affordable manner, and often uses analogies and hand-drawn pictures to simplify explanations.?

"Our clients are mostly non-technical, so we place a high value on the capability of our team members to speak to end users in human terms," explained Robert Cioffi, Managing Partner for Progressive Computing. "Jose showed us great promise that he can simultaneously focus on the issue at hand while balancing the end-user concerns. He?s an excellent member of our growing team."?

Inspired by the movie "Swordfish" to pursue a career in IT and the thrill of building his own computer at the age of 16, Rodriguez consistently strives to enhance his skills and keep up with the latest trends and developments in the industry. Looking forward, he sees opportunity for PCI clients, especially related to transitions from desktop to mobile computing and from on-site to Cloud storage.

"I look forward to working with our clients to capitalize on technological advances in order to improve and simplify their business processes and increase their competitive position in the marketplace," says Rodriguez. "We are partners in progress."?
